Incredible! Ali & Ian are the perfect hosts. The fire was lit upon arrival, the hot tub ready to go. This is a true little gem in an idyllic setting. Inside the hut, everything is perfectly appointed. Super clean, logs provided for the chilly nights and even when the temperature outside was -2 we were toasty and warm. The bed super comfortable and is the best bed I have slept in for comfort outside of my own home, and I’ve travelled far and wide! Then we have the attention to detail. The little touches around the hut, towels provided, a fantastic shower, absolutely an incredible place. The hosts have done this to perfection! So if you want a night away from the hustle and bustle, or a romantic bolt hole, Briar’s Hut ticks all the boxes! I can’t wait to return when life allows!

Beautiful well equipped shepherds hut, very cosy with the woodburner going. Very comfortable and relaxing couldn't have asked for more.

Spent 2 days here and it was perfect. The hut is exceptionally designed and Ali has made sure there is everything you could possibly need inside and more! Although situated near the main house, the hut is not overlooked and offers privacy for guests.
Local pub is easy to find and offered exceptional food. Definitely somewhere we will re visit!

This was our second visit to Briar's Hut and was as good as our first.
Alison and Ian are very friendly, the hut itself is exceptionally clean and tidy, with everything you need for a couple of days away from home.
The garden is well kept and tidy.
No complaints from us, and we are going again next year.
